The Gurugram inter-city transportation and mobility firm, Yolo TravelTech Pvt. Ltd has secured nearly INR 4.28 crore in the seed funding round.
The startup has garnered the capital from angel investors and venture capital firms, reported VC Circle.
The company will use the funds to enhance its mobility platform to be able to provide customized mobility solutions to its different markets, Shailesh Gupta, Co-founder at Yolo, said in an interview with the cited media agency.
The company is also expanding its services to southern parts of India, with a focus on territories such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Kerala, Gupta added.
We are planning to upgrade the services by integrating operations and technology and are also strategizing to bring on more dynamic routes on board, Danish Chopra, Co-founder at Yolo, said in an interview with the cited media agency.
Yolo was established by Mukul Shah, Gupta and Chopra in August 2019. The startup states that it renders comfortable and safe bus rides to the customers.
The company informs, bus fleets associating with it, offers airline-level services like high-speed WiFi, bus captains, washrooms, and FB, among others. It also offers services like emergency kits pregnant women, as well as children, and for other safety measures.
