Telecom Companies Are Mixed Trading In NSE Index

Stocks of Bharti Infratel are trading high in afternoon NSE index.

The afternoon session of Sensex shows mixed trading of telecom shares. The companies which were riding on top were Bharti Infratel (by 3.58 per cent), GTL Infrastructure (by 2.27 per cent), Tata Teleservices (by 1.39 per cent) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (by 1.17 per cent). (Source: ET news)

On the flip side, companies which fall in the red category are GTL (low by 3.52 per cent), Vodafone Idea (low by 2.71 per cent), OnMobile Global (low by 1.90 per cent) and ITI (low by 1.69 per cent). (Source: ET News)

Even, NSE Nifty50 index was slashed by 32.45 points and halted at 10,713.60 whilst BSE Sensex was slashed by 99.43 points and halted at 35,776.79. In terms of aggregating overall data, 50 companies that are listed in the Nifty index, 22 stocks were operating in green while 28 companies were operating in the red.
