SucSEED Venture Partners Invests in Bike Device Maker, Sepal

Indian venture capital firm, SucSEED Venture Partners announced that it has made an investment in a startup company, Sepal. The startup firm has originally created a device which will make riding a bike comfortable for riders and further, preserve riders in bad weather conditions.
A few angel investors had also partaken in the funding round, SucSEED said in a statement, as reported by the daily news, VC Circle.
Skavionn Auto Pvt Ltd, which operates Sepal, was incorporated by Sriram Kashyap and Vidhey Addepally. Sepals device is a foldable canopy which can be joined to any motorcycle. The device also consists of water resistant windshield to protect bike riders from cold, rain, dust and Sun.
Besides, its integrated heads-up display and user interface help riders navigate, answer phone calls and listen to music on the go, SucSEED said, as reported by the cited daily news.
Co-founder of SucSEED, Addepally has graduated from IIT-Bombay whilst the other founding partner, Kashyap graduated from Sinhagad University, Pune and additionally, learned parametric design from LEEDS University, UK.
In India alone, we have over 200 million two-wheelers on roads," Co-founder and Partner of SucSEED, Vikrant Varshney told the daily news, VC Circle.
Varshney added, "When it comes to an accessory like Sepals, the market potential could be around $10 billion within India."
