SoftBank in discussions to invest in Rivigo  

Rivigo and SoftBank are in discussions for fresh round of funding in the startup which will lead its valuation over $1 billion.

Rivigo which operates by Truckfirst Services Pvt. Ltd is in discussions with SoftBank to raise funds of more than $100-400 million. Its not clear whether the investment will take place from SoftBank vision fund or as an independent entity.

Rivigo is a logistics service provider which aims to provide services like full truck loading, part truck loading, etc to different industries like e-commerce, consumer goods, automotive, retail through its cutting-edge technology. Start-up has built up its network across 150 locations all over India and currently owns and operates over 2000 trucks for its services.

Warburg Pincus which is a PE Firm also invested in the start-up with a corpus of $75 million in Series C round last year. Also in 2015, SAIF Partners and other investors endow 30 million in the start-up in a series B funding round.
