Delhi-based startup, Sirona, which creates urination devices such as Peebuddy, has received investment from Indian Angel Network (IAN)
Existing investors, Ishan Singh and Vikas Kuthiala, partaken in the funding round alongside High-net-worth individual (HNWI) investors, according to Sironas statement.
Besides the present investment, the company has obtained INR 2.96 Crore from IAN in the past as well.
First Step Digital Pvt. Ltd-owned, Sirona had raised INR 2.96 crore from IAN in March 2017.
The fresh capital will help the company support its position in the women-focused hygiene segment, Deep Bajaj said, as reported by the daily news, VC Circle.
Sironas goal of building a robust full-stack consumer products company in the feminine hygiene segment Singh added that Bajaj and his team had built a global brand for their products, Kuthiala said, according to the above-cited media report
Sirona founded in 2015 by Deep Bajaj and Mohit Bajaj. The company has launched plenty of products for women hygiene and wellness in the past years such as menstrual cups, natural anti-chafing rash cream and period pain relief patches.
The company sells its products through its own platform and e-commerce platforms like Nyka and Amazon. Its products are also available in offline across Delhi- NCR.
