The Indian restaurant company, Riga Foods proclaimed that it has procured 20 per cent shares in Alicette SRL. Ritu Dalmia and Analjit Singh, co-owners of Riga Foods, have not disclosed the acquisition sum yet, as reported by the Indian daily news, BusinessLine.
Alicette is an Italian fine-dining restaurant firm, which is owned by start chef Viviana Varese.
In a statement, the Indian restaurant company, Riga Food said that the move has been done considering the companys expansion plans. Riga Food already has its presence in Italy with the opening of its Indian-Italian eating house, Cittamani in 2017. The company has planned to launch another restaurant named Spica, in Milan at the end of this year.

Ritu Dalmia and her partner initiated Riga Food in 2000 and then, introduced its first eating place, Diva in Delhi. Later in 2016, Analjit Singh-owned Piveta Estates planned to procure 51 per cent shares in Riga Foods.
