Transport platform, PiggyRide has recently proclaimed to raise INR 7.5 crore in the funding round. JAFCO Investment Asia Pacific led the funding round of the startup.
A clutch of angel investors including InMobi Group founder and CEO Naveen Tewari also took part in the round, VC Circle reported citing PiggyRide statement.
Other angel investors, who participated in the funding round were Anuj Srivastava and Ramakant Sharma, Co-founders at Livspace, Niladri Mukhopadhyay, Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, and Amiya Pathak and Sachin Maheshwari, Co-founders at EzCred, cited media agency reported.
PiggyRide, which is administered by Kidext Technologies Pvt. Ltd will infuse the fresh capital to soar its technology segment and extend its supply system as well as a team.
Earlier this year, PiggyRide was established by Rohan Kaushal and Manish Tewari. The startup has its bureau in Bengaluru and will start its operations in the Delhi-NCR region in the present month. Its platform is downloaded with gadgets that permit guardians to track their childs real-time location.
