Nihilent Acquires Cross-disciplinary Innovations Firm, Hypercollective

Hypercollective focuses on rendering brands, corporates, and governments with solutions in communications and others

The multinational information technology company, Nihilent Ltd. has bought cross-disciplinary innovations company, Hypercollective.

As part of the acquisition, Hypercollective founder, KV Sridhar will join Nihilent as Chief Creative Officer and will look after all relevant initiatives and projects at both firms, according to Nihilents statement.

The acquisition would help it leverage Hypercollectives creative capabilities with its stack to be able to provide customers with solutions across the technological and creative spectrums, Nihilent said in an interview with VC Circle.

The acquisition gives the firm unique capabilities that will further complement its human-centered approach, Minoo Dastur, President and CEO at Nihilent, said in an interview with VC Circle.

We are well-positioned to offer brand management, UI design, digital, creative, spatial and consumer research, Dastur added.

Hypercollective, which is based in Mumbai, was launched in 2016. The company concentrates on rendering brands, corporates, and governments with solutions in communications, content, strategy, design, data, and technology.

The Pune-based company, Nihilent was established in 2000. The company has expanded in various nations like India, South Africa, and the UK. Its products and services comprise digital transition, data science and analytics, and business transformation solutions.

It works in various sectors like banking, media, and entertainment, retail, and healthcare, and financial services and insurance (BSFI).
