Following the re-jig in Flipkart, another significant change has taken place in the system as Myntra and Jabong CEO, Ananth Narayanan has resigned from the C-level post. The parent company, Flipkart shared this news on Monday, stating Narayanan has decided to step down as CEO of Myntra and Jabong to pursue external opportunities. (Source: ET)

The company, further added, Amar Nagaram has been named as Head, Myntra and Jabong, and will report to Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy. (Source: ET)

For a long time, there were speculations that Myntra and Jabong CEO might quit the role following the resignation of Binny Bansal, the then CEO of Flipkart. After the resignation of Bansal, a new reporting structure was undertaken and this change was expected.

Owing to the new adopted structure, both the e-commerce companies, Myntra and Jabong, come under the governance of Flipkart. Thus, Narayanan was reporting to the then newly appointed Krishnamurthy, Myntra and Jabong CEO.

Some reports infer that Narayanan might shift to Hotstar, content streaming application. However, no definite revelation made so far.
