Chatbot was a niche concept of technology which is being implied by most of the mainstream businesses. Chatbot has become the need of the hour to carry on online business activities. Recently a chatbot developer Anaek has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Matrix Partners India.
The startup Anaek was founded by Ujjwal Grover and Kanav Abrol. The startup offers basic routine services through its chatbots like employee attendance, expense filing, time tracking and office management. The startup products are AttendanceBot for attendance management, OfficeAmp for office management and ExpenseTron for expense filing. The startup bots are being used by over 1000 companies in 60 countries.
As per ET reports, Grover said, "Slack had just launched its app store, in December 2015, and we concluded that this would be the ideal platform for us to realise our vision of streamlining business processes. The conversational nature of Anaek's software allows users to learn our software intuitively by simply talking to our chatbot.
Tarun Davda, MD at Matrix Partners India told TOI, Instant messaging has permeated workplace communication across markets, paving the way for seamless employee interactions. Anaeks enterprise chatbots help employees complete routine business processes in a simple and efficient manner.
In November, a chatbot developer Active.ai has also raised $8.25 million funding in Series A round led by Vertex Ventures and other investors.
