Baxi-Fresh, the Indian delivery startup proclaims that it has raised INR 2 crore from its investors. The present investors of Baxi-Fresh are Mahendra Pratap, founder and CEO at Shiksha Infotech, Alok Mittal, CEO at Indifi Technologies and Nitin Singhal, an angel investor of UK, as reported by the Indian daily news, The Economic Times.
Baxi-Fresh apprised that the company aims to utilize funds for business expansion and commence its delivery services in Gurugram and Delhi by the end of July.
"With this bridge investment, we will quickly scale our operations. The money will be used to hire key team members, market the service and strengthen our operations as we gear up to cover the entire Delhi-NCR region over the next few quarters," said Ashutosh Johri, founder and CEO at Baxi-Fresh, to the Indian daily news, The Economic Times.
Baxi-Fresh, the delivery startup, uses part-time staff for delivering food, milk and other household products in the morning hours. Currently, the company has a fleet of over 900 bikers.
The company has recently collaborated with Patanjali and Mother Dairy to use their delivery staff for morning deliveries. Till now, the company is serving in one sector of Dwarka, Delhi and twenty sectors of Gurugram.
