Infosys to acquire Nordic-based Fluido for $76 million

Fluido is the second entity which will be acquired under the leadership of Salil Parekh.

Infosys, India's second largest IT services firm, has announced a deal to buy Nordic-based Fluido, a salesforce advisor firm, for $76 million.

Earlier this year, Infosys had acquired a US-based digital creative and consumer insights agency, WongDoody Holding Company, for around $75 million.

Fluido is the second entity which will be acquired under the leadership of Salil Parekh. He took over as the CEO of the Bengaluru-headquartered IT firm in January 2018.

The company said, "The acquisition is expected to close during the third quarter of the 2019 financial year, subject to customary closing conditions. This acquisition adds to Infosys salesforce enterprise cloud services solution portfolio and enhances its ability to provide clients a cloud-first transformation".

Founded in 2010, Fluido has a presence in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Slovakia.The company is one of the largest and longest-tenured independent salesforce platinum consulting partners in Europe. It is also an authorised salesforce training delivery partner in the Nordic region.

The acquisition of Fluido will increase Infosys presence in the Nordic region.
