The investment venture backed by Chief Financial Officers and finance professionals, Inflection Point Ventures has pumped money in home interiors startup, Shadez.
"The Gurugram-based firm has put INR 76 lakh in the startup," IP Ventures said in its statement, reported VC Circle.
Shadez asserts to be the countrys first paint firm to offer a painting job in a day along with an additional facility to select paint of ones choice. The company will employ the funds for buying equipment, recruit more workforce and augment marketing strategies.
"They literally take away the pain out of the painting job with their one-day turnaround for repainting jobs," Jignesh Kenya, an IPV investor said.
Amit Tiwari and Adarsh Anand established Shadez Home Interiors in 2018. Before founding this company, Anand has formerly served at various companies such as Reliance Broadcast and Times of India Group. While Tiwari worked in companies like Jagran Group and DNA News apart from founding construction material and painting services company, Slatee Enterprises.
The home interiors company has branches in Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Mumbai. It decides to increase its presence in other metro cities.
Inflection Point Venture, which is primarily run by a cohort of CFO and finance professionals, is an initiative of CXO Genie. It was established in 2017 by 9 CFOs and finance professionals coming from startups like Grofers, BookMyShow and Myntra.
