The Indian fashion startup, StyleDotMe has received undisclosed investment from Indian Angel Network (IAN) and additional angel investors. The startup company usually utilizes augmented reality to assist customers in finding clothes.
Ritesh Malik, founder of Innov8, Supriya Paul and Shobha Banga, co-founders of Josh Talks, Rohit Chanana, Ex-corporate President of Hero Group have endowed money to StyleDotMe in the funding round, IAN said.
They [StyleDotMe] now solve a real, difficult problem for jewellery stores, which is the pain associated with trying out multiple items for customers and the economic costs of carrying inventory, an IAN investor, Ambarish Raghuvanshi told the Indian daily news, VC Circle.
Raghuvanshi added, With the insight of this sort, they can migrate to creating deep use cases in other industries.
Meghna Saraogi and Akhil Tolani, co-founder of StyleDotMe, said the company will be utilising the money to fortify its main team, increase its footprint across India and source new customers.
The company apprised that it uses MirrAR technology to assist customers in inventory management and render customers with a better experience.
Through mirrAR, we will help every jewellery store across the world to enhance the customer experience and ultimately their brand presence, Saraogi told the Indian daily news, VC Circle.
