HR-tech startup Bash.ai acqui-hires Wemo

Gurugram based HR-tech startup Bash.ai acqui-hires UX design expert Wemo.

AI-based chatbot Bash.ai which acts as HR automation tool provider has acqui-hired UX design specialist Wemo. The deal amount was not disclosed. Gurgaon based company Bash.ai plans to use the acquisition of Wemo team to expand its scale of operations.

Wemo is an agency which is working on Machine Learning, AI Bots, Mobile Apps, Websites, UX strategy. The team of the company will integrate with Bash.ai as a part of the deal. The startup is already in sync with big players of the industry like Tata, Videocon, Godrej, W for Woman, Fashion at Big Bazaar etc.

Last year, bash.ai was founded by Barkha Sharma to improve HR processes through machine learning and artificial intelligence. Bash is an intelligent chatbot which implements Machine Learning Algorithms to improve employee productivity, satisfaction and optimises HR function. Both the companies had worked on many projects before as per the statement revealed.

Sharma said, Wemos immensely talented team of UX designers will be joining our team that is focused on building products designed to empower businesses. The acqui-hire will open newer avenues of work for both Bash and Wemo and create new opportunities for brands targeting the new set of billions of users coming online.
