Glance Receives INR 323 Crore Funding from Mithril Capital

Glance, a subsidiary of InMobi, has amassed INR 323 crore from Mithril Capital, a growth investment company of Peter Theil, co-founder of Paypal, according to a media report.

Mithrils investment in Glance anchors larger financing round, the daily news, VC Circle reported citing a statement made by InMobi.

The new funds will enable Glance to launch multiple new platforms and expand into Southeast Asia in the coming months, InMobi told the daily news.

Glance is an online platform that delivers AI-driven content on the locked screen. The lock screen shows visual and other forms of interactive content, which can be customized as per the customers needs. The company asserts to have associated with prime android mobile manufacturers in India that render the screen zero experience.

Glance is available in various languages viz. Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and English in India. It has its presence in Bahasa, Indonesia as well. It asserts to have an active customer base of 50 million.

Glance is a powerful innovation to democratize content and commerce on the mobile Internet, Royan told the daily news.
