Games2win, the Indian mobile game firm has initiated a fund aiming to support startups and entrepreneurs in the gaming niche. The newly launched fund, Replay Gaming Fund will not have any capital limitations and the initial amount for funding will be INR 10 crore, Games2win mentioned in the regularity filing as reported by the Indian daily news, VC Circle.
Alok Kejriwal, co-founder and CEO of Games2Win said the company will call startups who want funds and further, it will mentor startups via a development process as well as promote their products.
The mobile game creating firm, Games2win will form a revenue-sharing concord with the developer besides opting for equity in the firm, Kejriwal told the Indian daily news, VC Circle.
After that, the startup can carry on with its next title without our intervention, Kejriwal added.
Kejriwal told that owing to a lack of investors in the gaming industry, the company has introduced this fund. Through this fund, the company will be also addressing other problems in the Indian gaming niche such as development costs and logistics required for creating the video game.
Most games planned on paper dont come out the same way, Kejriwal told the Indian daily news, VC Circle.
