Flipkart Equips MSMEs and Others with Know-how Ahead of Festive Season

Flipkart has recently hosted a month long virtual 'Learning and Development Program' for its Pan India seller base to inform them of best practices and insights to boost their business during the upcoming festive season. The e-commerce website's sales event, 'The Big Billion Days' is impending. The sales event gives opportunity to sellers, MSMEs, micro businesses, women entrepreneurs, artisans, weavers, handicraft makers to further grow their business and reap the benefit of e-commerce.

The program enabled sellers to do networking and meet Flipkart's leadership. It was hosted through 16 sessions and spanned over a month on a customized virtual platform. It helped seller ecosytem to connect with the team through unique 1:1networking sessions and keynote speakers.Further, sellers git to learn about the latest initiatives from Flipkart and understand and gather learnings to gear up for the festive season as they scale up their operations to meet massive festive season demand.

This year, the virtual event saw a four times increase in participation from sellers as compared to previous year. Sellers from smaller cities such as Vadodara , Nasik, Rajkot, Agra, and Mathuea attended the event for the first time, owing to the virtual learning set up--allowing attendees to log in from anywhere in the country.
