Bharti Airtel may report heavy losses in Q3 FY18, said brokerages

It is anticipated that Bharti Airtel will report INR 500 to 1000 crore losses in Q3.

Many brokerages have predicted that Bharti Airtel may report INR 500-1,100 crore losses in Q3 December revenue. HDFC (NSE 0.41 per cent) Institutional Research anticipates that the telecom operator will report 1.2 per cent surge in the revenues and also 17 per cent fall in EBITDA on a year-on-year basis. The brokerage views Q3 losses at INR 1,061 crore.

In the same array, Motilal Oswal Securities, a brokerage expects that Bharti Airtel may incur a loss of INR 520 crore for December Q3. Kotak Securities has also made a statement in terms of the telecom operators losses, We are baking in zero forex losses/gains for the quarter; Q2FY19 had forex losses of Rs 535 crore," Kotak said
