Akshay Kumar and Kapil Dev Invest in Startups Respectively  

Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar has put money in GOQii Inc.’s Series C round of funding and on the other hand, the cricket icon, Kapil Dev has led INR 1 crore angel funding round in the online firm, WizCounsel.

Akshay Kumar and Kapil Dev have recently partaken in the Indian startup ecosystem by investing in early-stage firms.

The Bollywood actor has put money in GOQii Inc.s Series C round of funding. Further, he will be the brand ambassador of fitness device maker, GOQii, the company said in its statement, as reported by VC Circle.

The fitness device making company was initiated in 2014 by founder, Vishal Gondal. The company provides health and fitness subscription services to users. By availing subscription services, it offers uses one-on-one fitness tracking and personal coaching.

Apart from Kumar, cricket icon, Kapil Dev has led INR 1 crore angel funding round in the online firm, WizCounsel. The startup offers an online platform where people can connect to tax, legal and accounting experts.

Other investors which have partaken in the round were Sunil Kumar Gupta, Founder and Chairman of SARC associates, Manas Fuloria, CEO and founder of Nagarro, WizCounsel said in its statement, as reported by VC Circle.
