PE Firm ChrysCapital consolidates funding of $600 million after raising its seventh fund from investors like Government of Singapore Investment Corporation and Harvard Management Company.
Ashwath Rau, Partner in AZB Partners law firm said, "This is a large fund raised by any standard and clearly indicates that investor sentiment is positive towards India.
The latest fund has attracted interest from a combination of investors, referred to as limited partners (LP) in the industry, that include insurance companies, university endowments, and family offices, ChrysCapital said.
With the total 80 investments made and 60 exits made by ChrysCapital in India has helped the firm to generate $4 billion from the sale of investments.

ChrysCapital newly launched fund ChrysCapital VII has already made its two investments in LT Infotech and in Hero FinCorp.
