An acquisition deal has been signed between Google and Halli Labs an artificial intelligence based service provider. Google acquired the startup but did not disclose the amount details.
Pradhuman Jhala and Pankaj Gupta founded this Bangalore-based start-up Halli lab four months back. The startup functions to provide better performing domains and platform via its AI and Machine Learning technology. The goal of Google with this buyout is to support people in achieving multiple tasks from Google products.
Caesar Sengupta, Google spokesperson said, We are excited that the Halli Labs team is joining the Google. They will be joining our team that is focused on building products that designed for the next billion users coming online, particularly in India.
Halli Labs stated in a blog post, We will be joining Googles Next billion users to help get more technology and information into more peoples hands around the world. We couldnt be more excited.
It has been noticed that Google is keen to invest in artificial intelligence industry as the company has already acquired 11 startups in this space.
