Venture Capital firm iSquare Global has invested an undisclosed amount of funding in Flochat messaging platform.
Prateek Lal, founder of Flochat said, the startup aims to use the funds for expanding its operations in Dubai and for features up gradation in application especially video and audio.
Flochat application-based start-up permits users to interact with their social group, share files and content via the app like videos, images, cab booking, food ordering.
Lal added, We are launching in Dubai by the end of this month as some of our investors are based out of there and are helping us in the market.
Flowchat operates under Yaegerbomb Media Pvt. Ltd and the company have also managed to raise some funds last year and with this amount, the total corpus raised by the startup is $1 million. It has also partnered with e-commerce platform Souq to expand internationally.
Apex Advisors handles iSquare VC firm and a spokesperson of iSquare said, We personally are very excited to partner with a young team. We believe this product has the potential to disrupt the communication category first in India and soon globally.
