Mint Hotels Joins Hands with Simplotel to Overtake E-commerce

Embedding technology, in the business, has become a norm for upscaling in the game. In recent times, merging operations with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology is helping the businesses ace. The Mumbai-based hotel and resort chain, Mint Hotels has more than 25 hotels and resorts across the country. The deal has been sealed to enable a three-fold surge in their direct website bookings.

How SaaS Technology Help Increase Hotel Business
The internet is becoming an effective tool for increasing the hotel business. It has become a go-to model for people to book rooms at hotels. According to industry statistics, nearly 40 per cent of all hotel room nights in the country are booked online.
The Mumbai-headquartered hotel and resort chain has seen their figures surge year by year. It has an aggressive growth plan which, in turn, is helping to increase booking via the brand website. As a component of that strategy, the hotel and resort firm was ascertaining for veteran technology partners that can aid in achieving their aims and thus, inked an agreement with Simplotel solution.

Simplotel, which is a top-notch hotel e-commerce firm, supports websites, as well as booking engines, and has more than 2,000 hotels throughout 17 nations. The company’s last few launches have initiated new OTA-like attributes for hotel portals to surge visibility, increase more leads, and website bookings. The company-powered online portals retain users’ activity and automatically customize the website for them. Expanding Hotel Industry in India
According to Research and Markets’ report, the Indian hotel industry is anticipated to reach a value of INR 1,210.87 billion by the cessation of 2023, increasing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of nearly 13 per cent during the 2018-2023 period, owing to the high arrival rate of foreign tourists and business delegates.
The report further states that the Indian hospitality industry, spearheaded by the hotel market, has emerged as one of the primary sectors which are driving the economic growth of the country. In India, hotels are classified based on location (city hotels, airport motels, resorts, etc.), level of service (upscale, mid-market, and economy), and themes (boutique hotels, heritage hotels, etc.).
