It is a fact that most startups fail. Even many of those entrepreneurs who lately succeed have their own story of unsuccessful attempts, challenges and difficulties on their way. Take the example of Colonel Harland Sanders, founder of KFC, who took his failures to a different level. Not once, not twice but he was rejected many times number. He tried to have his own business but that didn’t work for him. His recipe was rejected 1,009 times but after years of failures and misfortunes, he finally hit a big. Doesn’t this inspire you?
There are many such inspiring and motivational stories that will boost you to keep going. To get motivation, you must read few books that will help you in your future. You know what, Bill Gates is known to read 50 books a year and William Charles Eliot once said, “Books are the quietest and most constant of friends, they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers.” So, if you have no one by your side then try reading books. You might be short on time but trust me reading books can be one of the key reasons of your success. Here is a list of few books that every entrepreneur must read:
- Think and grow rich written by Napoleon Hill
“The way of success is the way of continuous pursuit of knowledge.” This book have some great inspiring quotes and it will teach you that if you have a goal set in your life and you want to achieve it badly then surely one day you will achieve it. You must at least read this book once in your life. This will keep inspiring you throughout your entrepreneurial journey. The Book is based on 500 interviews of the most influential people I the 20th century.
- The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
The global hit, the secret is based on pseudoscientific law of attraction which claims that thoughts can change the world directly. This means whatever you focus on, think about, talk about, you will definitely get someday. The book focuses on will power and each story provide an authentic and real life illustration of pathway that leads to success in every area of life, money, family and career. This book will inspire you stay positive and keep following your dream.
- The Lean Startup by Eric Reis
“If you cannot fail, you cannot learn.” The book will inspire you to try, try and try even harder. Lean Startup is all about what we can learn to improve virtually everything we do. Eric Reis is an entrepreneur. His book Lean Startup principles applied to government programs, It’s ultimately an answer to the question ‘How can we learn more quickly what works, and discard what doesn’t? His essays are a timeless lessons which are really important in the current environment. You will learn about the priceless pearls of business and investment wisdom from his essay. The topics concerns both managers and investors.
The entrepreneurs in their early stages must read these books as they will get an insight about the whole industry. Such books will help them to stay focused and there’s a lot to take away such as, this might help them in productivity, persuasion, marketing strategies and adopting the mindset of a successful entrepreneur.
