Being relevant to the present time has become vital for businesses. Those, who are not meeting the current demands, are either close down or temporarily out of business. Plummeting Corona-afflicted figures exhibit the need of remodeling business and making new inventions. Many big organisations have, thereby, switched their product line and begun producing sanitation and healthcare-related products.  

In a similar vein, a prominent tech player in security systems, Godrej Security Solutions (GSS), pronounced their venture into the health security segment with the Coronavirus defense security range of products. The products that are designed and released under this new venture is to fulfill current needs. It is also a move to fill the gap across spaces like defense, oil and gas, BFSI, police, infrastructure, airports, seaports, and hospitals etc, reported Press Trust of India. 

Some of the newly launched products are Vigi-Guard turnstile with sanitizer dispenser and Dual Sensor Thermal Camera, which will help increase body temperature screening. These products will help the country adapt to the new normal in ensuring health security.

Health Becomes Priority at Present and in the Offing 

In the coming time, the industries will have to strengthen their security solutions as health is  paramount in rendering protection. The new venture of Godrej Security Solutions will also see INR 50-70 crore revenue generation from this product line.

In the post-coronavirus world, companies and workplaces will have to enable minimal human interference to offer physical as well as health security. The Vigi-Guard range of turnstiles, with an innovation in the construction offers a provision made for a sanitizer dispenser at the entrance of any premise. The product is designed to adhere to the directives for Social Distancing of MHA which highlights 'Touch-free mechanism'. The product ensures a secure entry and restricts the entry of any person who has not disinfected their hands and can also be retrofitted to existing Godrej turnstiles and flap barriers. For superior protection, this also can be used alongside Godrej's Facial recognition system with Temperature Sensing. 

"These are unprecedented times and as a leader in the security space, it is our responsibility to innovate and help the nation practice new hygiene norms when they start getting back to a normal life. This product innovation has been possible due to the tireless efforts of our design team who studied the market need and devised the products in only two weeks. This will aid the country to take a step towards public health safety and reduce the spread of the virus. GSS has collaborated with the Government bodies to make the product in adherence to norms so that industries can quickly adopt the mechanisms, reduce chances of transmission of COVID-19 and Restart the Right Way," Pushkar Gokhale, Vice President and Head of B2B, Godrej Security Solutions said in the company’s official statement. 

The giant company is working along with several state and central health departments, thereby concentrating on cities and places that have seen a surge in Corona patients. At the beginning, these products will be employed in hospitals, healthcare facilities and other commercial establishments such as grocery stores to make sure quick access along with sanitization and temperature check.

Alliances Formed to Meet Rising Demands
