Flipkart’s personal investment adviser to float VC fund

Sailesh Tulshan is launching a venture capital fund with a target corpus of $50 million

Sailesh Tulshan, investment advisor of Flipkart is planning to launch 021 Capital, a venture capital fund amounting $50 million.

Around 40% of the funds are approved by the SEBI and the rest are still in process.
It is being said that Binny Bansal, CEO of Flipkart may also take part in this 021 Capital as he has also shown interest in ventures like Blume Ventures, India, Quotient, Stellaris, Pi Ventures.

The fund is planning to invest in opportunities like biotechnology, internet technology, and agriculture. The fund is aiming to raise capital from domestic as well as foreign investors.

The venture capital is planning to endow $2 million in every startup it joins hands with.

Sailesh is the personal investment advisor of Binny and Sachin Bansal and also the founder of Tsai Shen Capital.
