The desire to be your own boss is very much in everyone but what keeps a person away in giving shape to his idea are several in my view point. Among the main ones being the ecosystem supporting the very idea and here its the conditioning right from school/college thats the key. It's only when you have role models around whether while growing up or within the family that one feels confident of pushing oneself over the edge of entrepreneurship. The desire to be an entrepreneur comes with a lot of risks so one must have the strength and courage to take the risk along with the art of solving the hurdles that come his/her way. Therefore it becomes very important to follow a person who has done great in life and get to know the problems he has faced in reaching the place where he is right now. This helps you learn a lot and gives you the strength and the courage to step out of your comfort zone and take risks in your life.

Barriers in initiating your own business

There is no doubt that entrepreneurship is tough and not for faint hearted. Even with the changing regulatory landscape, the red tapism has still not vanished from India, which is reflected when you deal commercially on a day to day basis. Like I mentioned earlier as well, starting your own business by stepping out of your regular salary schedule and that comfort zone of not facing and handling the risks is not an easy task. One must have to be ready to face the challenges of life. Sometimes you will have profits and sometimes you will have to bare losses. Therefore, you must know the right way to come out difficult times and situations like a fighter.

Challenges in Entrepreneurship

The biggest challenge which every entrepreneur's faces are these very facets of regulations that need to be simplified to the extent that one feels the joy of doing business instead of headaches (of remembering the monthly/quarterly/yearly compliances). The most recent change with the coming of GST is certainly a welcome move from the GOI but there are still many other unnecessary licenses that are demanded from an entrepreneur to conduct business which could be certainly streamlined. Apart from this, on the customer front, the challenge that comes handy while starting any kind of business is to make them trust you. It becomes really important to win your customer support and trust to keep you going.

Be an Entrepreneur

The motivation for any entrepreneur is simply to realize his vision on the ground. To get validation or proof of concept whereby, the customer comes back for a repeat order. Youre your customer praises you for what you are doing, the feeling is great. Moreover, when someone else comes up to you and say that he/she has come after a reference, this even becomes cheery on the cake. These things might appear minor to another person but for a person who is doing the business, these tiny things are the biggest support system.Be an entrepreneur, to live by your own style.

Key to Success

The key is long term vision and attempting to create a sustainable model which clearly would mean no compromises on any aspect of the business. Whether it is in recruiting the best talent, training the manpower or in finding the best packaging solutions that keep the product fresh and hygienic and most importantly is user-friendly.

Success Story of Entrepreneur

Food as a sector is perhaps most experimented with several entrepreneurs falling into the trap of rosy picture of the sheer numbers which the sector claims. Just like every industry, food sector has its own pros and cons and also just like every sector if you are passionate about the idea that you wish to put out there; you would quickly learn the cons and move forward building the blocks of your business. I started this business with the vision of taking it way forward. I am working towards making all the efforts to satisfy my customers and make sure that they turn up again. The future vision is quite clear and I hope I end up achieving even more than what I hoped when the idea of starting The Punjab Kitchen strike my mind.
